About Sara

I heard the question so many times, “What would you be doing if you could do anything, if money or title or what others’ think were not part of the equation?”

I never thought I’d be able to answer it. What I could not yet see was that by simply opening to the question, the answer was put in motion.

What I now offer to others is what I would do if I could do anything. I choose to be right here. Who I am and what I do and my purpose are now, and at last, aligned. I truly enjoy serving my clients - amazing humans, every single one of them.

It wasn’t always this way.

Professionally, I earned an MBA, worked in mergers & acquisitions, moved into tech and did a series of three startups and three acquisitions, including time as a CEO/Founder.

Following one acquisition, I stayed for a few years and got to see what it’s  like to be an executive at a Fortune 50 company. Along the way I had some successes and some failures. Lots of learning. Lots of striving.

Along these same years I was also on my adult spiritual journey, diving deep into Buddhism, esoteric Christianity, Hinduism, the teachings of Jesus, Taoism, depth psychology and quantum science. I was deeply interested in all of this and had much to learn about the journey as a human. I spent a couple of decades in the study and practices of these great traditions - including mantra, meditation and working with attention - to experience what they had to teach about growing within as a human.

One of the great joys of my life has been uncovering how much the great traditions have in common.

Time to make a leap.

There came a point when I was ready for my business career (and all that striving) to end. This felt simultaneously freeing and terrifying.

I attended interfaith seminary and was ordained as an interfaith minister. I did post-seminary training as a spiritual counselor and coach. While I was still in school, CEO’s I had known when I was a CEO started showing up and asking if they could work with me. I said yes.

One referral led to another and now my practice tends to be full. Still an entrepreneur, I now combine executive coaching and spiritual growth in new and transformative ways.

Many roles, now in balance.

Like all of us, I play multiple roles. I am an ordinary human, devoted wife, human companion to some much-loved dogs, a twin, a sister, a friend, a butterfly gardener.

I tend a bird sanctuary and am barefoot whenever possible. I enjoy barefoot-style running (in shoes) and I run for the joy of it. I enjoy a glass of wine and sharing a meal with a friend.

These days I find that life is simple and filled with joy.

My life now is about reaching my greatest inner potential and nurturing the potential and dreams of others.

“Be patient toward all that is unsolved in your heart and try to love the questions themselves, like locked rooms and like books that are now written in a very foreign tongue. Do not now seek the answers, which cannot be given you because you would not be able to live them. And the point is, to live everything. Live the questions now. Perhaps you will then gradually, without noticing it, live along some distant day into the answer.”

― Rainer Maria Rilke
